Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV)
The Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) lets you visit Thailand as many times as you like within six months. Each entry allows up to 60 days, which you can extend once by 30 days at immigration. It is for tourism only, and you apply online from the country where you live.

Yes. Each new 60-day stay starts when you re-enter Thailand.
Visa-exempt stays for most nationalities dropped to 30 days, for tourism only. The METV and long-stay visas are not affected.

Why the METV matters more now. Since 15 September 2026, most visa-exempt visitors can stay only 30 days. The METV still gives you up to 60 days per entry over six months.
